My father bred in me a love of graphic novels and comics, while my mother cultivated an interest in colour, pattern, and fashion; I find that now a lot of my art revolves around concepts of identity, disability, queerness, and mental health. I also derive great inspiration from nature, having been raised surrounded by the woodlands and rivers of Wiltshire, Somerset, and Devon. I primarily illustrate with my iPad, though I have also been applying these designs to screen prints, and am continuing to develop my skills with watercolours. I adore visual contrast, particularly between areas of white and areas of colour, and that comes through a lot in my artwork. I am hoping to hone my drawing skills, and to go on to creating graphic novels of my own - so watch this space!
